Hustler Cocktail {Drinks with the Girls – Spring Edition}

Happy Friday, everyone!  Today, I’m so excited to be sharing this tasty, refreshing cocktail with you!  I’m also so excited to be teaming up with 8 other super talented bloggers in a fun blog hop called Drinks with the Girls – Spring Edition.  My super awesome bloggy friend Melissa (A Prudent Life) and I have decided to it would be fun to put together a seasonal blog hop featuring our love of delicious cocktails.

My recipe of choice for the spring edition is called the Hustler cocktail.  I first learned of this tasty drink last summer when we were at a get together with my best friend and her family.  They had gotten this recipe off of the TV show Bar Rescue on Spike.  Have you ever watched it?  It’s so fun to watch struggling bars get completely transformed.  One of the episodes was a comedy bar in Scottsdale that we had actually been to pre-transformation.  Believe me, it definitely needed to be on that show!

This recipe was on an episode for a bar called Solids and Stripes.  Obviously from the name, I’m sure you can tell it’s a billiards bar.  This cocktail is the perfect blend of sweet and spicy, and the cucumber and lime make it so refreshing.  This recipe calls for vodka, but I’ve also used tequila and it’s equally as delicious.  You can find the printable recipe at the end of my post.  After you check out the recipe (and maybe make yourself a noontime cocktail), stop by and visit these other talented ladies and their incredibly delicious concoctions.
